Election polls point that Pete Buttigieg would beat Trump

Election polls point out that any of the six leading Democratic presidential candidates would beat Donald Trump.

Election polls point out that Pete Buttigieg would beat Donald Trump, 47% to 42%. The poll was conducted by Quinnipac University.

Pete Buttigieg, a 37-year-old mayor from Sound Bend, Indiana, launched his presidential campaign earlier this year, expressing that “violent white nationalism rearing its ugly head” to the current administration. He even added,

“We live in a moment that compels us each to act. The forces changing our country today are tectonic.

“Forces that help to explain what made this current presidency even possible. This time it’s not just about winning an election, it’s about winning an era.”

He plans for economic reforms and to fight for LGBT+ Rights, becoming the first openly gay candidate for a major political party in USA.

The remaining candidates had the following leads on Trump:

Former Vice President Joe Biden, the biggest lead, with 53% over 40% for Trump;

Bernie Sanders 51% to 42%;

Kamala Harris 49% to 41%;

Elizabeth Warren 49% to 42%;

Cory Booker 47% to 42%.

Seems that the Democratic candidates performed better among women, Black and Hispanic voters as well as voters under the age of 49. The poll counted with 1,214 voters nationwide.
