Grammy Awards 2020

TOP 10 Most Dapper Male Looks On The Red Carpet

Every year since 1959 The Recording Academy has presented us with The Grammy Awards – An event created with the intent of promoting and awarding outstanding achievements in the music industry.
It gathers various well known faces from the entertainment industry.

Celebrities often make use of the visibility of such events to strike a pose and delight us with eccentricity and idiosyncrasy that we can’t get enough of.
This year was no exception.
For those of you who haven’t had the chance to watch the Grammys, worry not. I gathered a collection of some of the edgiest looks of this year’s edition’s red carpet that will undoubtedly inspire you.

10 – Trevor Noah

This is the most elegant outfit I’ve ever seen Trevor on! His coat is sublimely tailored, and its off-white shade contrasts beautifully with his black pants, bow tie and handkerchief.
His watch is a Rolex GMT-Master II, a sublime piece of jewelry that reminds us that elegance is better expressed in small details.

9 – Shawn Mendes

Shawn went for a very classy look, wearing a perfectly tailored skinny three-piece by Louis Vuitton topped up with a pearl waistcoat chain. The formality of his suit contrasts with his rockstar style boots

8 – John Legend

Legend surprised everyone wearing a classical grey suit with a twist: the right side is much longer than the left, giving it a somewhat androgynous look, adding a quirky detail to a every so often tedious garb.

7 – Iggy Pop

Undoubtably not a mainstream look, Iggy Pop’s choice of garment for this year’s Grammys didn’t cease to amaze us.
The picture speaks for itself.

Flavor Flav

According to Flavor Flav, time is the most important element in our lives. As a result, Flav’s fashion trademark is wearing a huge clock on his neck.

5 – Swae Lee

Wearing a beautiful androgynous two piece white suit with a silver floral pattern, toned up with glossy heeled boots and a crucifix, rapper Swae Lee brought a big smile into our faces. You look beautiful, Swae!

4 – Steve Lacy

Steve Lacy slayed at the Grammys wearing a Comme Des Garçons grey dress, with a fantastic black tailored jacket and a pair of Ricky Owens combat boots. This look is a perfect combination of classy, trendy and edgy. I literally need every piece of clothing he’s wearing!

3 – Tyler, The Creator

Tyler wore more than one outfit at the Grammys, but this one was definitely our favorite.
Reminding us of the dapper looks in ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’, Tyler once again showed us he knows how to reign a parade.

Lil Nas X

Probably the most striking accessory worn in this year’s Grammys, Lil Nas X’s neon pink harness, designed by Versace, made us all wish we could afford it.
The whole look is phenomenal, full of detail and personality.
The cowboy boots and hat colide beautifully with the gold and neon pink chroma.

1 – Billy Porter

By far my favorite look of the night, Billy Porter, who never fails to amaze/surprise/inspire us, showed up wearing a blue hat with a silver curtain which he could electronically open, with glitter and sparkle all over, all in blue and silver tones.
I love how fashion and technology walk increasingly hand-to-hand and this look takes that to a whole new level.
Please, Billy, never stop being yourself!
