27th Abraço Gala at São Luiz Theater

A solitary night in the fight against HIV.

The 27th Abraço’s Gala will happen this next Sunday, the 1st of December, the day that marks the World AIDS Day, at São Luiz Theater. There will be transvestites, Drag Queen, trans shows, plus several performances from LGBT+ artists and sympathizers.

It will be a night in defence of human rights and equality, showing that in difference we win. The night will be full of exuberant moments, happiness, colors, glamour and laughter.

Created more than a decade ago, by Carlos Castro, this event comes to fight against stigmas, and prejudices, and support the work the Abraço Association does, which since its embryo gives help to people with HIV/AIDS.

The gala will be presented by Fernando Santos (Deborah Kristall) and César Mourão, the juris will be Ana Garcia Martins (Pipoca Mais Doce), Marta Bateira (Beatriz Gosta) and Inês Gonçalves (5 para a Meia Noite). During the night, people like Zizzi Mayer, Petra Mariah, Wanda Morelly, Linda Xennon, Suely Cadillac, Cher No-billz, Symone de la Dragma, the team of Finalmente Club, Eva Brown and so many other renowned Drag names from Portugal will take the stage.  Mafalda Veiga and José Castelo Branco will also perform at the gala.
