After this Spring-Summer 2019 fashion week in Paris, i noticed that there was a high level of emotions, not just because of the last defile of Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld, but also the 50th anniversary of Ralph Lauren, the new collections of Heidi Slimane for Celine and the Riccardo Tisci for Burberry

We also saw on the marvelous runways: a town lost in the mountains for Chanel; an Italian village for Jacquemus or the reconstitution of the Centre Pompidou in la Cour Carré of the Louvre for Louis Vuitton. Mostly androgynous looks (Louis Vuitton, Tom Browne, Celine, Balenciaga…) , Monochrome ( Isabel Marrant, Courrèges, Elie Saab, Lacoste…), Red ( Balenciaga, Jacquemus, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Marine Serre) or with black and white impression ( Balmain, Chanel, Dior…).

In the opposite side of the Atlantic, i would like to congratulate Tom Ford for his new role as Chairman of the prestigious CFDA, The Council of Fashion Designers of America, founded by Eleanor Lambert in 1962. Tom Ford will take the lead on this summer and will replace Diane Von Furstenberg.
